KALAMARIA PENTHOUSE

The 90 square metre apartment is located on the last floor. Of a new apartment building and is a duplex.

Because larger spaces were needed, the initial plans were modified. And a single space was created on the first floor shared by the sitting room and the kitchen. The kitchen – quite unostentatious and inspired – almost disappears from sight and its counter serves as a dining table.

A clean-cut staircase leads to the upper floor, where all the private spaces of the home are located. The most impressive element in the sitting room is the hanging revolving fireplace, that was selected for its style as well as to save space and is the reference centre for both sitting rooms.

The use of soft colours, such as different shades of grey, on the walls and the floor and materials such as wood and lacquer add warmth and serenity. Eclectic elements are combined to create an harmonious environment filled with fresh ideas.
